Ancient Egyptian Demonology

In the Egyptian context, what we term magic and demon, drawing on our own cultural heritage, are not seen as negative aspects of cultural practice and conceptualisation. Similarly, the Egyptian equivalents do not carry the pejorative connotations borne by the modern terms and their Greek antecedents; magic and demons can be forces for good as well as evil. Indeed, the practice of magic and the conceptualisation of personified demonic agents are central to the Egyptian understanding of the workings of the world from the very continuation of the cosmos itself down to the vicissitudes of existence faced by individuals. In particular, the broader practice of magic and articulation of the involvement of demonic agency form one of the crucial links in Ancient Egypt between individual existence on the human level and the level of nature or the cosmos, the realm of the gods. Unlike, though, the explicit recognition of the term demon in the ancient Greek language and religion, as the intermediary between god and mortals, the majority of the demonic names in the Egyptian literature do not possess an apparent ontological essence, or a clearly defined denotation. Their characteristics and role depended momentously on the verbal and performative ritual environment they were part of. The relation between the name of a demon and its cosmic-natural personification is not contradictory as it may seem, but it is closely interwoven in a well established ritual framework of words and actions. This multi-authored volume of 10 essays comprises an up-to-date authorization account of many aspects of ancient Egyptian demonology, including the multiple persona of the demonic or name vs. identity in the Egyptian formation of the demonic, nightmares and underworld demons, dream rituals and magic, categories of demonic entities and the vague distinction between the divine and the demonic in Egyptian cosmology and ritual, the theological and demonic aspects of Egyptian magic, demons as reflections of human society.

The Second Book of Master Falxifer will delve further into the Necrosophic mysteries of Qayin, but will also cast a black light on some crucial aspects previously hinted at and at the same time veiled, in the first book of the Left-Handed Reaper. One of these all-important aspects concerns the identity of and the gnosis granted by the Hidden Mother of Our Bloodline, the Bride of Qayin.
The Second Book of Falxifer shall continue where the First Book left off, as the purpose of all the publications of the Templum Falcis Cruentis is to make available the initiatic tools needed by Those of the Blood in order to awaken and set ablaze their slumbering Pneumatic Flames.
The Second Book will once again present an extensive set of both worded and wordless manifestations of Sorcerous Gnosis and provide access to previously hidden keys to both low and high forms of Necrosophic Nigromancy, Necromancy, Ancestral Veneration, Herbal Demonology and give new detailed instruction about how the powers of the insignias, talismans and fetishes of the Lord of the Harvest can be further employed in order to achieve both temporal and spiritual power, victory and transcendence, all by walking in the fiery and blessed footsteps of the First Ones who traversed the Paths of Nod.
Some of the topics presented within the Second Book of Our Master are: esoteric discourses revealing the mythic foundation of our Qayinitic Gnosticism, the Hidden Bride of Qayin, Her secret formulas of Calling and Names of Power, Her sigils of both high and low sorcery, the unified and transcendent aspect of the Twin-Flame of Sataninsam, the Dark Dead and their hidden and most fearful aspects, the cleansing, protective and empowering baths, the herbal formulas and activations of the 7 Key Sigils of Death, the Mysteries of the Black In Green, exploring the powers of the First Tiller and the workings of the Esoteric Sigil of the Green Skull, the rites of protection and concealment, instructions concerning the creation and employing of the Qayinitic Bone Talismans (i.e. Pays), specific fetishes of some of the most important aspects of the Master, like for example the Fetish of the Lord of the Mound and the Skull of the First Harvester, the role of the First Dead within the Cult and His Sigils of Calling, talismanic work against the law, the ensouling Tinctures of Qayin and His Rose-Crowned Bride, the secret Kelim of Baaltzelmoth, the Grand Kliffotic Sigil of the King of the Ravens of Death, further teachings concerning the Mighty Dead and the workings of the Altar of the Dead, prayers, invocations and talismanic forms used for the channelling of the powers of both the soul and the spirit of Qayin and much more.
Those who have faithfully and correctly worked with and internalized the teachings offered in the First Book of the Left-Handed Reaper will, in this Second Book of our Holy Saint of Death, receive the instruction needed to further experience the initiatic empowerments, blessings and curses of our Necrosophic Tradition.

Extensively illustrated. Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium Lon Milo DuQuette One of the most widely respected members of the magic community, Lon Milo DuQuette is known for his ability to address the rather intimidating aspects of magick with a casual candor; he makes the subject accessible to the initiate while still holding the interest of the experienced reader. Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium is a collection of loosely connected essays surveying the state of magick in the face of the new millennium. It showcases DuQuette's knack for combining wit with profundity, producing chapters such as "Qabalah-Zen of the West" and "Demons Are Our Friends," while addressing contemporary topics such as initiations and the procession of the equinoxes. A History of Heaven by Jeffrey Burton Russell Well-known for his historical accounts of Satan and hell, Jeffrey Burton Russell here explores the brighter side of eternity: heaven. Dispensing with the clich images of goodness that can make even heaven seem unbearable, the author stimulates our imagination with a history of how the joy of paradise has been conceived by writers, philosophers, and artists for whom heaven was an imminent reality. Russell not only explores concepts found among the ancient Jews, Greeks, and Romans as well as early and medieval Christians, but also addresses the intellectual problems heaven poses: how does time "pass" in eternity? is heaven a place or a state? who is in and who is not? what happens to the body and soul between death and Judgment Day? Russell stresses that the best way to approach the logic-defying concept of a place occupying neither space nor time is through poetry and paradox, and through the visions of such mystics as Bernard, Julian of Norwich, and Eckhart. After the Revelation of Saint John the Divine, the most sublime and encompassing portrait of heaven to date has come not from a theologian but from a poet--Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy. Russell's history of heaven culminates in a lively analysis of how Dante described the glories of the indescribable. The unsurpassed images of light, movement, and community that Dante uses so skillfully to convey the presence of God are rooted in the Jewish picture of heaven as a garden or court and in the Greek picture of the Elysian Fields. Using current scholarly insights together with a vast store of knowledge gathered from the past, Russell takes the idea of heaven as valid and important in itself--something to be understood from the point of view of those believing in it. His very use of language immerses us in the thoughts of those who have sought heaven and provides rich material for contemplation. <"
